Wo, the above named, if elected, pledge ourselves
to strive to the best of our abilities in achieving the
most desirable and practical goals for the student body of
Highacres.
We will not make any ridiculous promises that we will
be powerless to accomplish* We will, however, try our utmost
to see that the following proposals are explored to their ut
most potential.
Student Radio Programj With the co-operation of WAZL
radio station in Hazleton, we hope to institute a
weekly fifteen minute program arranged and pro
duced entirely by Highacres students.
Tearbookj We propose the formation of a yearbook edited
and staffed by students of Hazleton Campus.
Student Union Boardt We advocate the formation of a
Student Union Board to co-ordinate and plan social
activities at Highacres. This board would be in
dependent and relieve the S.G.A. of tedious duties
pertaining to social affairs and therefore allow
them to devote more time to pertinent campus problems
involving regulatory, advisory and bwdgetory fields.
We have carefully considered each office for which we
ere seeking election end we believe our candidates are best
qualified from past experience to hold these various offices.
. e believe our candidates are best suited to represent the
Freshman Class and we therefore solicit your support and vote
in the forthcoming election.
