BELLES - LETTRES LITERARY SOCIETY
This, our first meeting, was brought
to order by Professor Andrew Kafka,
our admirable advisor. Those present
were Priscilla Stiles, Dave Saul, Olga
Markus, Frances Werpshaw, Barbara Jean
Pace, Tom Maxwell, John McCullough,
and John Potochny• Officers were
elected, and will serve for the first
semester.

Miss Lillian Junas and Mr. James Steel.
Various pamphlets and papers were
exlulated to give the nucleus of the
club a look at the constitution, aims )
purposes, and methods considered
and accepted by contemporarY organizations,
both on the main campus and at the
auxiliary institutions.
A goal of January 15 was set as the
last date for the acceptance of
material to be considered by the
annual main campus magazine "Circa!'

The HMACRES College Arts Society
held its first meeting this year
Fri&y, October 17 in roar. M-213.
The turn—out was surprisingly large
(approximately 25 persons showed up),
promising a very fruitful semester.

Student Union. Allowances have been
made in the budget request for this
purchase, and the article, itself,
will be chosen later.
