Highacrcs Carpus i£ now available for use
by any Hi ghaeres student ?rho wishes to
improve hr's reading speed*
This machine whr ch is called a Reading
Accel ;rator is an instrument wi th a reeving
shutter that travels at a constant speed
down the pag e of reading material. De
pending on a students rate of reading,
this shutter can he adjusted for di fit; rant
speeds wittrn a wide range of worms per
minute* It movers smoothly, covering a
line at a time and challenging the reader
to keep ahead as his eye movements pro
gress down the page* Th- s results in
faster read-'rig for the student.
The students here at Kighacrrs are
encouraged to usethis machrne. An English
instructor whether it be Frs. Bodonsten,
Krs« Ferry, I/r . 7i lcox or L'r* Kafka must
be present at the time when the stude it
is using the Reading Accelerator* This
machinc may to found in the office of
