On Monday, Feb. 18, at 8:00 P.M. ,
the film, Annapurna will be shown in
the Main Lounge, Highacres. This is the
actual film record of Maurice Herzog's
Himalaya expedition, with a wealth of
human interest and the vividly pictur
esque settings of jungle and mountain.
Even more than Herzog's best-selling
novel, this is a breathtaking visual
ization of a daring ascmt which became
a spiritual adventure. Also included is
a short film entitled The Compenius
Organ in Denmark.
