'KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS"
The College txts Society presents a film
entitled 'Kind Hearts and Coronetst on
Monday evening, Mar9h 5, at 8100 pm in
the main loungeat Highacres. The
Society extends an invitation to the
students and.faculty of Highacres„ and.
to the members of the community to
attend. There will be no admission
charge.
tKind Hearts and coronets' is a comedy
based on a murder plot, as ironical as
it may seem. The young hero tries to
come into a fortune by inheritance
through the process of elimination. Then
the fun and comedy begins. The lead
rol' is played by Dennis Price. The
romantic interest of the story is

CHESS TOURNAMENT TO OPEN
Thil LI your invitation to join the chess
tournament which will begin March 1. All
students who are interested can sign.up
in the Rec Hall.
Last semester's tournament was a success
because of the interest shown by the
students, This one will be just as much
fun, if not more, if enough students
take •art. .

BLUE BAND CONCERT
The Fenn State. Blue Band, an organization
from the Main Campus, will give a concert
at the Hazleton Senior High School on
Monday, March 19, at 6:00 pm. The
proceeds will go to the Hazleton Center
Student : Union Building Fund.
Mrs. Kostenbauder, along with the other
members of the Women's Auxiliary, has
worked hard,.to makp this concert a
success.
All students should be looking forward
to attending this performance as it will
prove to be an enjoyable evening.
Tickets can be obtained from any member
of the ticket committee. General admis—
sion 1.00, fOr students, $2.50 for
patron tickets.

Church, Hazleton, Miss Dorothy Stanton of
'Jest Hazleton, and Leonard Velky of Harwood
Mines, became man and wife.

The groom attended Hazill Township High
School and fs at present enrolled as a
second—semester D—Tech student at Highacres.
