Lack of student interest and participation has resulted in the
cancellation of the remainder of the season's backetball games. With
the Penn State Huestars occupying a hard won first place in the Junior
College League, Mr. Feightal was forced to announce the withdrawal of
Coach Mullegan's team from the conference. Mr* Peightal cited the
lack of players as the main reason for this move.
At present there are only five students on the basketball squad,
Tf player should be forced to leave any game on fouls, the game
would be lost, A last minute appeal to the student body for support
received no response.
For the great work which they have done this season, congratulations
are in order to the remaining squad and their coaph. Mp, Feightal and
his assistants also deserve credit for the work they did during the
first semester.
