Cubs Sweep Twinbill As
They Dump Jamestown C.C.
The Behrend Cubs, sparked by
the dynamic pitching duo of Tom
Wright and Mark Lytle swept a
twinbill last Saturday from
Jamestown Community College.
Wright extended his streak to
28 2/3 innings without yielding an
earned run as he shut out the New
Yorkers 6-0. The big righthander
scattered six hits in running his
season record to 3-1. His one loss
came last week against Niagara
Community College when he_
gave up only one hit.
All the came in
the first inning as they jumped on
the Jamestown starter early.
Every Behrend starter has a hit
in the first game except for one.
The second game followed
almost the same pattern. Mark
Lytle spun a four hitter as
Behrend won 6-1. Once again, all
the Cub runs came in the early
