grams. 'This day will consist of
seminars 3 private talks and tours
to help potential black Penn
State students realize the feas
ability of a college education.
In preparation for College
Day; the Steering Committee has
visited three' NATO Centers for
informal - talks. ; personally adding
to the liSt of - 40 names recommen
ded by Dr. Zipper. .They are all
college material and Arnie Cald
well emphasized that "students
can - ba assured that PSU admission
requirements will not be affect
ed."
On May 10 4 black students
and their parents will come out
to Behrend from 9to 12:30. They
will meet in groups and individu
ally with the administration for
talks concerning admission requi
rements 9 costs and financial aid.
Mr. Kochel has stated that no
student who applies under Reach-
Out will be turned away from col
lege due to lack of money.
Later students will be giv
en a chance to discuss courses
and majors with faculty members.
They will also be conducted on a
tour of the campus.

University Park, Pa. Apr.— The
great majority of students at The
Pennsylvania State University
oppose the use of violence or
disruption to effect change.
This is reveled in a poll conduc—
ted by the Undergraduate Student
of James I. Schwartz to determine
student opinion on nine "non—
negotiable demands" made to the
University on Feb. 17 by a group
identifying itself as the "Steer—
ing Committee to Reform the Uni—
versity."

man, recently attended a confer
ence of the West Penn North Re
gion of Penn State Commonwealth
Campuses. Along with Presidents
and vice- , presidents from the oth
er campuses, they passed two irn
portant pieces of legislation,
First, they made a proposal
that OSGA investigate Penn State
methods of allocating student ac
tivity funds to the Commonwealth
campuses.
They also passed a bill re
organizing the Intercampus League.
The number of elimination tourna
ments was cut down from four to L.
Concerning the Championshts.
Each region will send one team
made up of the best players in
the region. Previously, each re
gion sent its top team.
