RUB Nears Completion
Finishing touches are now being com
pleted on the Reed Union Building, which is
scheduled to be opened by the beginning of
the Winter Term. This beautifully-designed
and well-situated building was built with
the student in mind.
It is eouipped with two huge lounges,
one for fun and frolic, and the other for
quiet studying. The "noisy" lounge will be
evipped with several new 51500 pool tailles,
and new ping pong tables, too. Located in
this general area (right wing, first floor)
is where the SGA suite and the literary
clubs• offices are located. The unpopular
"bookstore" will also have a new permanent,
greatly-enlarged location in the central
first floor area.
The arched windows pictured Eibove desig
nate the temporary location of the library.
The crowded conditions that exist in the
present literary will no longer exist, and

On the second floor is a new lecture
hall built on the order of Room 101, O. B.
Building, only larger with more modern idea
built into it. Across the hall from the
lecture room is the new, ultra-modern
cafeteria with a folding partition, which
separates the dorm students' dining section
from the commuting students' section. This

as there are meeting rooms, practice rooms,
and even one room which does not really hair
