Behrend trailing by four going into
the last wight class pulled out a close
victory February 11 over the Altoona Cam
pus wrestlers in the Erie Hall gym by a
score of 21-20. Heavyweight Don Plass's
first period pin was the clincher.
Terry Kunick, a.winner in the first
match with Altoona, started things off
the second timiLaround with a . pin and
five. points, but Behrend watched its
Head erased until Al Trlyant, at 152,
gtarted the Cubs-'rolling again -with a -
J 2-1 decision.. Then Ken Carpenter out
pointed his opponent for 3 more Behrend
points. Cott B. Zinser, winning by for
feit at the 177 pound weight class
brought the score to within four. Then
Don Ploss put Behrend in the winning co
lumn for the first time in four starts
this season.

Behrend Campus
Besides Kunick, Ulyant, Carpenter,
and Ploss were also winners the first
time around against the Altoona Campus.
This weekend the grapplers will
travel to Keystone Junior College to
compete in the PJCAA tournament. Defen
ding champ, Terry KUnick, will go down
to the 115 weight class and heavy weight
Don Ploss will drop to 191 for the event.
Basketball
The eager& win against Altoon capped
a perfect season in the Western Division
of the state Junior College Conferende.
The Cu - Rs had to wait until midway
in the second half to decide the out
come, when Taylor and Horgyak headed a
spree that moved the Cubs in front to
stay.
Behrend took a quick lead in the
opening minutes, but this was quickly
erased, and at the break the Cubs led
