Any potential member may still join for the second semester, Jan to May / by attending the regular meetings Mon day at 5:00 p.m. in room 121. prOzitestfellriao , 3lFDlZ4 All dirty thoughts and wise cracks aside, there really is a student parking problem at Behrend. Gary Baran observed at the last S.G.A. meeting that students may not park a car on campus even for one or two days during a term unless they have purchased a $7.50 parking sticker. As the parking regulations are / one must pay $7.50 per term for the privilege of fighting for any available space during the daytime. And if one tries to park en unregistered car for a day, he is fined $lO.OO Visitors do not need to pay this fine, but Behrend students do. Baran felt that there should be a moderate daily parking fee of $.50 or so for students who seldom bring cars to school. S.G.A. approved the idea, and it will be brought up soon in front of the Student Affairs Committee. SPORTS by Paul Wilson One of the biggest things on campus the last three months partici pationwise, has been the intramural basketball league, organized and con ducted by Coaches Sweeting and Onor ato. Close to seventy students and ten members of the faculty partici pated this past season. All players participating showed great interest in that not one game during the season was forfeited due to lack of players. The competition was keen and all took pride in their team and its record. Although the scores were usually low, the closeness of the team caused some real thrillers with the victor sneaking away with a one or two point decision. The season was concluded this year with a tournament s the top four teams participating. Intramural volleyball is next on the agenda. Teams may be Picked up with between eight and ten players and the games will be played during common, hour of Thursday and TUesday. If you are not already on a rooster, talk to Coach Sweeting or °floret° and there may be an opening.
