We'd like to "chalk up tome points" and extend a thank-you to some non basketball figures. One is John Walters who took care of setting up the table tennis team for the upcoming tournament of the Intercampus League at the Dußois Cam pus. Eliminations for the bowling team took place under the supervision of Allen Clark. Al was high-scorer among all the bowling teams com peting at the McKeesport competition in the fall. These two teams and a chess team will compete against those from Altoona, Dußois and Sharer campuses on January 27 and 28 for place at University Park. This year's league is very evenly matched, and on a given day any team is a threat. The participa tion and interest in the lea Tae has been good, and as of yet no team has forfeited due to lack of players The Intercampus League Tourna ment will be between the top four teams in the league. I . C . L. T . Page 7 The Cubs now have a seven game winning streak to only one defeat. Friday's game against Venango resulted in a score of 107-55, with Behrend racking up an easy victory. High scorer was Joe Williams with 27 points. Ron Hornyak had 24, Bruce Reinhard 14, Howie McGregor 12, Tom Taylor 11. Barney Etzel had a hot first quarter with 9 points but in jured his ankle and sat out the rest of the game. Saturday's game against Warren featured a Jammy afterwards. Williams scored 20 points, Taylor 12, Hornyak 20, Reinhart 10, and McGregor 9. Behrend won Tuesday's game againE Jamestown 103-73. Williams made 25 rebounds and 28 points. Hornyak made 30 points in his best game of his college career. He showed good defense and bailbawking. McGregor scored 17, and Etzel made 5 for 5 at the foul line even though he is still hampered by a twisted ankle.
