BOOSTERS BOAST 20(
The Behrend Boosters Club, born
last term, is, chronologically, still in
the infant stage. But already the club
has two hundred Behrend students on the
membership rolls.
Credit for this must go to its hard
working officers who sponsored a strong
membership drive at registration. Thee
people are: Bill Cox. president; Ron Hor
knyak, vice-president; Barb Koshland, sec
retary: Jon Schuller, treasurer; Joe Wil
liams, publicity chairman; and Dennie
Hoover, membership chairman.
The general objective of the Boosters
is the strengthening of the athletic pro
gram physically and financially; through
active participation in a sport or merely
as spectators. According to the club con
stitution: "The ultimate purpose of this
organization shall be one of public rela
tions, the attainment of a reputation for
the Behrend Campus which would 1 - ring fa-
vor to the campus as sn institution of
higher learning with an excellent educe-
tional program and an athletic program to
match.
The Boosters meet on the last Wednes
day evening of each month. This month's
meeting will be at 8:00 P.M. on January 25
in Room 101 of the Otto F. Behrend Science
Building. It is still possible to join
the Boosters by contacting any of the a-
e rend Campus
forementioned officers.
dollar.
