Erie Fall, the Carradines will re-enact fa
mous scenes from history and great drama.
Under the supervision of Edward Wright, the
husband and wife team portray dramatic mo
ments in the life of Elizabeth Barrett and
Robert Browning, Anne Boleyn and Eenry VIII,
Queen Elizabeth and Lord 7;ssex, and Joan of
Arc and Charles, the French dauphin.
The Carradines are a husband and wife
team ofbrilliant actors who portray scenes
from treat flays. Richard Carradine is the
son of the famous actor Johr Carradine.
Richard is considered by many to be one of
the most brilliant young actors in the Uni
ted States today. Early in his teens he
prepared for such roles as Hamlet, and Romeo
under the eminent actress Constance Collier,
John Barrymore's leading lady in "Hamlet."
In the past ten years he has appeared in
such major roles as Clarence, ir. "Richard
III," lago, ir "Othello," Romeo, in "Romeo
and Juliet," and Richard, in "Richard III."
Jaclyn Lord, his wife, was graduated
from the University of Colorado where she
majored in speech and drama. Later she
attended the Goodman Memorial Theatre to
prepare for the stage. After graduation
from Goodman, she portrayed Juliet for the
Playwright's Shakespearean Company. In the
past few years she hay appeared as a leading
ingenue in some of the country's finest stock
companies.
A full house is expected to watch the
Carradines perform in Erie Hall, so come
early to assure your chance , of getting a
seat.

GLIMPSES ITT A GALLERY
The Behrend Readers will present
their winter term program, "Glimpses
in a Gallery," at 10:50 , Thurs
day, March 10, 1966.
Listeners will be conducted on a
tour of a "picture exhibition" con
sisting of literary scenes and poems.
The program creates numerous moods
by drawing on literature as diverse
as Robert Frost's "Yaple" and Edmund
Rostand's hilarious "lose Speech,"
from Cyrano de Bergerac.
