    SGA SPONSORS CFRISTKAS FUND
The SGA is starting this week to
collect contributions to two Christ—
mas funds.
The first of these is the Harbor
creek Needy Fnd. This fund coordi

the most effective service can be
given to the community. Contributions
to the Harborcreak Needy Fund should
be in the form of canned goods or
toys. Large cardboard boxes will be
placed in the cafeteria where dona
tions can be turned in,
On Friday of this week the SGA
will sponsor a Tag Day. The proceeds
from the sale of the Tags kill go to
the Times Naws Christmas Fund.
Support your SGA-- contribute to
the ne3dy of your community. Do your
part to make Christmas a happy time
for all.
CIRCLE K
Circle K members will be well
pleased to learn that their repre—
sentatives, President Frank Palomine
and Jim Barickman were favorably
received at a recent luncheon meeting
of the Kiwanis Club. A letter was
recently received by the administra—
tion from the Kiwanis Club attesting
to this.
Frank and Jim spoke about what
they thought of Circle K in relation
ship to the parent organization and
Circle K's projected activities on
Behrend Campus for the current school
year. Congratulations are in order
for both of than for presenting
Behrend's fine image so well.
SGA TAG DAY
PSI SIGMA UPSILON
On Tuesday, November 23, the girls
of Psi Sigma Upsilon held the last
meeting of the fall term. At this
time the members voted to purchase
sorority pins for the paid-up members.
The style they decided to purchase
consists of an oval-shaped pin with
a blue stone in the middle around
which, on a silver portion, is written
Penn State. This pin is connected
by a chain to another one which has
the Greek letters of the sorority
on it.
The pins, being purchased through
Herbst Jewelers in the .Erie Central
Hall, cost $3.50 each, one dollar of
which is being paid by the sorority.
They will be available at the beginn
ing of the winter term.
All members wishing to purchase
these pins should have their money
in by December 3 at the latest.
Further questions may be directed
to Kathy Rutkowski or Ruth Brown.
