LETTER TO THE EDITOR It was brought to my attention at the last "bull session" sponsored by the S.G.A. that there is a drive for college students to donate blood which will be sent to our soldiers in Viet Nam. This drive is intended as a type of apology for the insults which other students in other colleges have conveyed by their demonstrations and draft—cant:" burning. This program will also help to show that we do care. Unlike other colleges who are sending 2 in my opinion, almost meaningless Christmas cards, we at Behrend could do something a little more personal and certainly more worthwhile I for one would like to know if thi program could be organized at B ehrend and possibly the other schools and colleges in the Erie area, I am sure there would be sufficient donors to make this a very worthwhile program In fact I feel there would be few good Amer icans who would refuse to give so little of themselves for such a worthy cause. Your suggestion represents one w in which college students can shoe a real and meaningful concern over involvement in Viet Yam. The idea deserves serious consideration by t students of Behrend in general and by some organization on campus in particular, such as Circle K, S.GOA or the Red Cross. I, and the staff of the NITTANY CUB feel that there is real merit in such a program and mould like to see it put into pract --Editor Most sincerely, Thomas Krahe REPLY
