BOWLING
The shoes and the lanes may
be in an abominable state of con
dition, but some of the bowling
results in the first week of pin
busting are commendable in the
face of such material odds. Tues
day night (Oct. 31) found Team
Four taking three games out of
four from the Behrend 800-Boos;
the Gutterballers did the same to
the Winslow Warriors Part One
on Wednesday; and in a Novem
ber sixth make-up match the
Winslow Warriors Part Two top
ped the Faculty, 4-0.
Concerning outstanding scores
for the week of October 31 to
November 6: Joe Sostarich just
missed a triplicate series with
games of 148, 148 and -149. Other
high scores includes Ron Gates'
158, Joel Nathansohn's 178, and
Jerry McMahon's 155. Merle Slack
rolled a 154, 163: 'ln the WWII
-Faculty match Tom Hardes rol
led a 514 series of 160, 180, and
174. Mr. Edwards, bowling for
the Faculty, added games of 164,
150, and 185.

varsity soccer team. Numerous disputes interrupted play, but the
New Yorkers hustled past the Cubs to the tune of 4-0. In the
photo at the right, after a disputed call by an official, Tom seems
