at the Kochel residence, Monday,
November 2, at 8 pun. The host
esses were Mrs. Ethel Kochel
and Mrs. Carolyn Lane. There
was a very interesting program
planned with Mr. Kochel speak
ing on “The Future of Behrend
Campus.” All members enjoyed
attending this informative meet
ing.

“Music by Phil King.” This
sounds familiar to most Beh
rendites who attended the fresh
man “get acquainted” dance -and
the Pumpkin Prance.
Phil, whose nickname is “Sky”,
is known to all because of his
combo, in which he plays the
saxophone and the clarinet. Mu
sic, music, music is this boy’s cry.
A member of the Jazz Club, he is
mainly interested in modem jazz
and swing.
Phil is in the associate degree
program majoring in electrical
technology. He plans to serve in
the Navy for two and one-half
years, starting in February, after
which he will finish his educa
tion at Behrend.
When asked about his hobbies,
he blushed and timidly admitted

crew, “Shady” Johnson, Gay “"Why
not with our money?” Vierya,
“Cuddles” Baldwin, and “Mill
creek” Steiner have been using
their allotments of the money to
further their educations by brib
ing teachers, just as if these four
didn’t have enough beauty to
bribe the teachers with already.
