OFFICIAL STUDENT PUBLICATION BEHREND CAMPUS—Pennsylvania State University NEWS BRIEFS Saturday, November 14, over television station WSEE, from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m., the Pennsyl vania State University will pre sent a program, 15 minutes of which will be about Behrend Campus. Mr. Kochel would like to call to the attention of the students the fact that they may visit any class offered on this campus, in which they are not presently en rolled, providing the instructor teaching that course gives his ap proval. This is an opportunity for many students to obtain know ledge about subjects in which they are interested but have not ■been able to schedule. The Student Council has been invited to send representatives to the Pennsylvania Junior College Student Council Conference which will be held at Harcum Junior College on November 6 and 7. Bob Johnson and Jim Altman were appointed' to represent Behrend Campus at the Confer (Continued on Page 2) Rigged Campus Elections Exposed By Student Government Body Advisors With deep regret Advisors William Hover and Gordon Baker have made public the fact that Student Council elections held October 1 have been exposed as fraudulent! According to their report to Mr. Irvin Kochel, Behrend Campus director, a political machine, headed by “Spike” Sosnowski, reputedly stuffed the ballot box and extended threats to unsuspecting freshmen in order to gain seats on the Council. Evidently the reason for such action was the desire to pocket the funds allocated to Council.
