STRIKES and SPARES The B. C. bowling league has been progressing in spite of the “lousy" driving weather. Dot Maxwell hit a new high game of 145. Good work, Dot, keep up the Falcons’ average. Speaking of the Falcons, .tension was high between the Gulls and the afore mentioned on the -third game. After the loss of two- games, the Gulls were after blood, and believe it or not, they got it! After a tight ten frames, the Falcons admitted defeat by ten pins. Wonder of Wonders!! The Do- Dos’ finally won two games l . Don Lynch helped by -bowling his new (high of 208. What a happy event! Larry Ar-duini honored- the alleys with his presence this past Mon day. Stupendous, eh wfhat? “Uncle Dave” swung back on top— sounds fishy to me. Willy Storer, in a fit of anger for missing a spare, kick ed -the -ball rack, and now must serve as a pin for a month. Keep up the good work, B: C. Bowlers. Who knows, soon we may hit the big time league. SPORT COOPS By Bobs Detisch And Gornall Intramural Basketball will get off to a rousing start oh Tuesday. Oh, well, just think of the perfect Shapes the campus will be blessed with by the time spring rolls around. In. just one or two more weeks, those long awaited gym suits will arrive. With all the girls wearing •blue shorts and white shirts, Com py will have quite a time telling the girls apart, if they stand with their backs to her. If you happen to look into the gym someday and see the girls hopping aro-un-d- on one foot or skipping up and down, they are only doing the newest thing- -the relay race. Did you hear about the big -bump when Marilyn DeMarsh hit the gym floor? She really got a bang cut of that. Also Donna Cra- mer and Bobby Johnson have -been suffering from the strange malady of sprained ankles. Never can tell what’ll happen next in that gym class.
