Know About SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS Applications are now available for the Alpha Sigma Lambda Adult Education Foundation schol arship awards. ASL will award 7 $lOOO scholarships nationally to adult students for the aca demic year 2003-2004. Students do not have to be ASL members to apply, but must meet the application eligibility of being 22 or older, matriculated in an associate.or bachelor's degree program, and have complet ed 30 graded semester hours as of the fall semester with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.4. Scholarship, leadership, personal statement, faculty recommendation and need are the criteria considered in choosing the recipients. Applications may be picked up in the Financial Aid Office in the Swatara Building, or in the Student Assistance Center, W-117 Olmsted, or may be downloaded from . All applications must be returned to Charlotte Spector in the Student Assistance Center,W-117. The application deadline is April 4, 2003. Bus Trip to Harlem, N.Y. The Black Student Union is sponsoring a bus trip and educational tour to Harlem, N.Y., on March 22. Harlem is the beacon of African-American culture -- the historical center for African- American arts, music, dance, literature and social commentary. Everyone is welcomed to join the tour.
