    The SGA and the Penn State THON Committee provided its
own version of The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" on February 4.
They held a "Bachelor/Bachelorette Event" in the Kunkel Auditorium
that Tuesday afternoon.
The Bachelors and Bachelorettes participating were Mike
Lamb, Jim Feight, John "J.J." Seasock, Christian Dubbs, Anthony
Achampong, Mary Anne Nguyen, Maria DiSanto, Kenisha Davis, Erica
Benning, Bethany Dalkiewicz, Jenna Sullivan and Capital Times staff
members Jason Russo, Marko Primorac, Stacy DeAngelo, and Sarah
Elkalban.

Jenna Sullivan became the highest-priced free agent when one audience member put
up $lO5 for her. The minimum commitment required was two dollars but all participants at
least went over the five-dollar mark.
SGA senators Andrea Nye and Lee Cutchall emceed the event and then decided to
see how much they were worth. Nye went for $22 and Cutchall went for $l2.
ABC Bowling Lanes of Harrisburg treated all participants, and those who bought
them, to two free games on Friday, February 7.
The event raised over $4OO. All of the proceeds will go to the Four Diamonds Fund,
hose mission is to help children with cancer through Penn State Children's Hospital in
ershey. This fund has been helping families for over 30 years.
