A limited number of flu shots will be offered to Penn State Harrisburg students and employees on the fol
lowing dates: Friday, Nov. 1; Monday, Nov. 4; and Wednesday, Nov. 6. You must call Student Health
Services to schedule an appointment and pre-register. The first 120 Penn State Harrisburg students will
receive the shots free compliments of the Student Activity Fee Fund. Penn State Harrisburg faculty and

Penn State Harrisburg faculty, staff, and students are invited to join a fun-filled United Way bowl-a-thon
Saturday, Nov. 16 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Red Crown Bowling Center on Sycamore Street, Harrisburg.
PSH organizers are searching for teams of four persons to assist in raising money f! or the Capital Region
United Way. Teams will compete against other teams representing PSH departments, schools, clubs,
etc. You can gather sponsorships for your team or pay an individual fee of $2O per person or $BO per team.
Free pizza and soda will be provided to all participants. Trophies and prizes will be awarded for several
categories. During the afternoon there will be raffle drawings for a romantic evening at the "Inn Of The
Dove" and an autographed Joe Patemo Penn State football. Tickets can be purchased for the raffles from
Wayne Mills in Mail Services or Connie Ensor in Continuing Education.
The Harrisburg campus is participating in a program sponsored by the state's Department of Environmental
Protection entitled "Rush to Recycle.” Organizers are seeking campus-wide participation in the campaign

to Philadelphia Nov. 7 through 10 to par
ticipate in the University of
Pennsylvania's Model United Nations
conference. The lAA will represent
Pakistan at the conference and is seeking
participants to fill positions in committees
ranging from humanitarian issues to inter
national justice and science and technolo
