The work of a Mechanicsburg Area School
District elementary teacher Kathleen M.
Olivetti is on display in the Gallery Lounge of
the Olmsted Building at Penn State Harrisburg
through Sept. 23. The exhibit is a result of her
work in the Master of Arts degree program in
Humanities at the College.

The work of professional nature, wildlife, and
automotive photographer Betty H. Ott is cur
rently on display in the main central corridor of
Olmsted Building. Ott is a resident of
Harrisburg, a graduate of the Harrisburg Area
Community College, and a member of the Art
Association of Harrisburg. The show will con
tinue until the end of September.

An ait exhibit from Group Doshi of the Susquehanna
Art Museum is on display through Dec. 13 in the
Morrison Gallery of the Library. A reception and
gallery talk will be Oct. 16 from 5:30 to 8 pm.
Evening CUB Activities"
Late Nite at the CUB", co-sponsored by
Residence Living and Recreation Athletics and
funded in part by the Student Activities Fee, will
be held on October 23, November 20 and
December 11 from 9 p.m. to midnight. Plans call
for a guest speaker at each program discussing
topics of interest to the student population. There
will also be tournaments in such activities as
table tennis, racquetball, billiards, chess, check
ers, etc. At the conclusion of each program
snacks will be provided. Anyone who would like
to suggest topics they would like to see presented
can call the Recreation/Athletic Department at
948-6267. Some topics that are presently being
considered center around healthy eating, lifetime
activities and their value, aerobics fitness, etc.

Meditation Classes
Greg Crawford of the PSH Library staff will
offer an introductory class in Surya meditation
technique for the entire PSH community. The
classes will be held in the Quiet Study Lounge of
the CUB from 12 to 1 p.m. on October 1,8, 15
and 22. There is no cost for these four sessions.

Basketball Shootout
The Great Basketball Shootout sponsored by
Penn State Harrisburg in conjunction with the
United Way of the Capital Region will be held in
the CUB on Saturday, November 2nd, beginning
at 10 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m.. The shootout
is actually a foul shooting marathon, participants
are sponsored by family & friends for every foul
shot they are able to make out of 100 attempted.
Then on November 2nd the participant will come
to the CUB and shoot their 100 shots, and then
collect the amount pledged for each successful
try at the foul line. For further information con
