jnce group .*nce from pr August 28 in the Lobby of Olmsted AnOpinior* and Photos By Stacy De Angelo Editor in Chief • What can I say? Coming from NEPA, I love UUU. To me there is no better cover band. This is the third semester l •that I have seen them play here at PSH and I would gladly see them again next semester. I even saw them over the sum- * •mer at a club near both their home town and mine. UUU’s members include the vocal stylings of Jason Hoffman, Doug • •Mackie on guitar, Joe Saltalamachia on drums, John “Guido” Phillips on keyboards and Peter Connors on bass. As • •always, their stage antics and back and forth insults to one another kept the performance entertaining. Jason often left the* Istage to sit with students, bring people on stage, take requests and even wish one of the women in food services a happy * .birthday. these guys really know how to entertain. They played toe-tapping songs like “Footloose,” and sway-worthy songs* •like “Brown Eyed Girl.” Their range not only covered classic hits but more modern hits like “The Middle” by Jimmy Eats ; •World. • • If you ever-get a chance to see UUU at a club, I highly advise doing so. I have seen them five times in the last • •eight months and each and every time I am amazed and entertained.
