Every now and then I stumble upon a
great album that I normally wouldn't lis
ten to. Lacuna Coil's Unleashed
Memories is just such an album. Produced
by Waldeman Sorychta of Grip Inc., I was
expecting a progressive metal album that
was most likely going far away into the
unplayed bin of CDs. What I got was a
band that seems to blend elements of
Portishead, A Perfect Circle, and The
SUMMER
(and get
Cuernavaca, Nexico In 2001:

Cure. Harmonized male and female
vocals drift over powerful straight-ahead
guitar arrangements. It really is some
thing cool to hear. If you have the means,
I highly recommend checking this one
out. Fans of any genre of music can
appreciate this.

This band just doesn't stop rockin' ! This
album is one of their best to date. It has
a feeling of nostalgia taking the audience
back to RFTC's early years The State
of Art is on Fire and Circa Now. From
this album, I guess it proves the point
that once a band leaves a major record
label (Interscope) and returns to an inde
pendent record label (Vagrant), the band
has more freedom and autonomy to write
real, rocking music. The guitars drive the
songs while the bass and drums keep up

bright exotic flowers as

Spring." The city of
500,000 inhabitants is
located at an altitude of
about 5,000 feet with an
average temperature of 75-80 degrees. It is
a beautiful place to study Spanish!
Nine hours of seminar classes at Penn State Capital College. Classes will cover cul
tural and linguistic information, including survival vocabulary for travelers. Required of
all Intensive Spanish and Service-learning students.

in Cuernavaca, Mexico, including 60 hours in the classroom and 15 hours of field study.
