These are the kinds
of prejudices that the club
is trying to overcome.
They want women to become
more involved with math;
therefore, extinguish any
fears related to this field
of learning. That is why,
Jud and Malligo said, they
are inviting a female
speaker later on in the
semester
"It was fun dancing with
them," Traci Hulstein said.
Miranda Thompson said, "I
think it was nice of them to
come the whole way down here

Positions Available for students

recreation for special needs child
ren and adults. Beacon Lodge Camp
located in Central Pennsylvania, is
seeking camp counselors for summer
camping program beginning May 28
and ending August 14. In addition
there is a need for WSI; Lifeguards,
Program Director, Unit Director, Nurses;
and the following instructors: Canoeing,
Kayaking, Archery, Riflery, Games, Arts
& Crafts, Music/Drama, Nature. The summer
offers a well-rounded program of activities
from bowling to overnight camp outs, and
canoe trips down the Juniata River. To

The Demey Elementary
School fifth - graders with
sweaty hands, smiles and a lot
of energy shared their feelings
on the event.
"I thought it was cool,"
Taleda Peterson said. "It was
fun seeing how they dance and
hearing how they talk."
Tiffany Markey said, "I
think it's cool."
"It was nice," said Michele
Galbino.
David Viola said, "It's cool
of them to let us come and learn
about their culture."
"They're good," said Daniel
Nauman, who was glad he didn't
have to hold a girl's hand.
Nicole Griffin said, "The
dances were fun."
"I liked it a lot," Frank
Arnold said.
Ryan Reed said, "I t was fun
jamming to the music."
"It was fun and you got to go
fast," Josh Reichel said. "They
had neat clothes."
Nicole Noon said, "It
was fun because we got to
dance with the Indians and
the little kid was cool."
"I liked all the dances,
but the woman's dance was
the best," Ashley Miezitis
said.
Tyler Raisie said, "I
learned different words."
"I learned some new
words and it was fun danc
ing," Greg O'Donnell said.
Mike Brommer said, " I
had a lot of fun learning
about nature."
"I thought it was funny,
but neat," said Jesse
Woodrow.
