Bill Miller entered the
Gallery Lounge Tuesday
afternoon, black hair
hanging past the shoulders,
wearing jeans, shirt, leather
vest, black silver-tipped
boots, and, around the neck,
beads.
Miller,a member of the
Stockbridge-Munsee tribe of
the Mohican Nation; is a
singer, songwriter, and
musician. His father was a
full-blooded Indian and his
mother a full-blooded German
"Some people think
long-haired Italian "
joked
As part of the Heritage
Series, Miller gave a concert
of folksongs, accompanied by
a guitar, and music on a
woodland flute.
His songs tell of Native
Americans and his childhood

"My friends were always

knew weren't pretty." Miller
said. "I was a nerd."

like little children were I can
tell stories." Miller said.
