If you are athletically
minded, the athletic
department at Penn State-
Harrisburg offers students
the choice of many fun and
exciting intramurals events
during the spring semester.
Wallyball is an event that
could not be scheduled last
semester due to the
popularity of softball and flag
football. The Wallyball
tournament takes place on
the CUB raquetball courts.
This is a fast paced sport that
can best be described as
volleyball with walls.
For the hoop fanatic, the
athletic department offers
two events for all hopeful
Michael Jordans and Magic
Johnsons. For those three
point sharpshooters, the
athletic department offers 3-
on-3 halfcourt basketball. On
the other hand, 5-on-5
intramural basketball offers

exciting game to watch and
enjoy. The final score isn't
important. What is important
is these alumni came back
and had fun...
Will the Super Boyd be
super or a sleeper? The
Niner's are already a 11-
point favorite and that should
continue to increase. I'm not
sure what we should expect
from this game. Will the
Niner's complete their bid to
be the team of the Eighties?
Or can the Bronco's finally
win the title that has alluded
them year after year?
My vote is with the Niners
and at this time I would like to
jump on the Joe Montana
bandwagon. But when will
this man stop getting
better?...

Volleyball is anothc:
popular spring intramural
sport. This coed sport is very
competitive and conjers up
memories of summer pick-up
games at the beach.
If you like raquet sports
there are a wide variety of
intramural events for you.
Besides raquetball; tennis,
badminton and table tennis
are all scheduled for this
semester.
For those who like to pump
a little iron, the weight room
offers Olympis free weights,
dumbells and two multi
station units to "pump you

All the intramural events
will be scheduled during the
semester, so check for sign

better watch out. I smell an

A major loss for baseball is
the death of Billy Martin in
an alcohol related death over
the holidays. This man had a
revolving uniform exchange
with the New York Yankees.
On or off the field he had to
be one of the most fiery,
competitive managers in
baseball history and will be
sadly missed. Yogi Bera once
