Campus Notes
DTK Meeting Scheduled
DTK--Delta Tau Kappa, is having an organizational
meeting Thurs., April 7, 1988, at 12:3.0 p.m. in the SGA
Conference Room. All members are welcome and nominations
for officers for next year will be taken.
Tarnhelm Lectures Announced
As a part of the Tarnhelm lecture series Nancy B
Mandlove of Westminster College will be on campus April 7
Fiction writer David Small will be here April 14.
Graduation Speaker founder of Peace
Corps
Spring commencement will be held May 14 at 9:30 a.m. in
Founder's Hall at the Milton Hershey School. The keynote
speaker will be Harris Wofford, secretary of the Department of
Labor and Industry for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Wofford was one of the founders of the Peace Corps during the
Kennedy administration.
Scholarship Offered
The Northern. Pennsylvania Section of the American
Nuclear Society is offering scholarships to undergraduate and
graduate students majoring in engineering, science, or nuclear
related fields. Deadline for application is May 27. For more
information contact the financial aid office, room 200.
Scholarship Dinner will be in Hershey
Capital College's second annual scholarship dinner/dance
will be Sun., April 24, at the Hershey Motor Lodge and
Convention Center. Center Dimensions, Penn State's 16-piece
big band will be featured.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. Patron tickets are $75 and
general seating tickets are $5O. For more information contact

WNDR Elections Scheduled
WNDR is holding a general meeting on Thursday, April
7, at 12:00 p.m. in room W3ll. As a part of the meeting,
nominations for next year's officers will be taken. Any club
member interested in running for an officer position can sign up in
the station until the meeting.
Humanities Open Forum Coming Up
An open forum for all humanities students is slated to take
place April 11, 12:00 p.m., in room 216. Students will be able to
meet with Dr. Mahar to discuss any concerns or questions they
may have. Bring a lunch and your questions.
Help for Orientation Needed
Student Activities is looking for interested students to
serve on the Orientation Committee for the Fall semester. Be part
of a group to design, plan, and implement new ideas for fall. For
more information call ext. 6273 or stop by room 212.
Opportunities for Summer Study
Opportunities still exist for summer study or work
experiences outside the United States. College credit may be
obtained as well as the valuable experience of learning about the
life, culture and customs of another country.
