Gallery Features Graduate Student's Paintings Watercolors by Linda Eberly, a Humanities graduate student, are currently on display in the Humanities Gallery, W-352 and W-360. The artist is interested in evoking a feeling of light without illustrating light. Adobe forms provide the stuctural surfaces and shapes which Eberly transforms through her layering of glowing, transparent color. This delicate treatment of massive walls results in a mysterious quality that pervades the artist's work. The exhibit is the culmination of an independent study Eberly undertook last fall under the direction of Linda Ross. The paintings will be on display through this month. A Mount Joy resident, the artist has worked as a photographer and is currently employed by the Lancaster Sunday News as a staff artist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millersville University. Study.
