Sports Wrap-Up
By Mike Camilli
As the air begins to get
colder, the fall sports season is
drawing to a close. The Capital
College soccer team finished its
season with a victory over
Lancaster Bible College. The win
brought the soccer team's record to
3-5 for the year. At Penn State's
main campus, the football team
also ended up with a victory.
Thus, the Nittany Lions remain
undefeated despite their "incredibly
tough" schedule.
As the fall sports season
is coming to a close, the winter
sports season is just getting
underway. At Penn State,
Harrisburg, there are two
intercollegiate winter sports
bowling and basketball. In
addition, there are various
intramural athletic opportunities
(including an intramural basketball
league) during the coming months.
The basketball team is off
to a strong start this season despite
being made up almost entirely of
new players. With only.one
returning member from last year,
the team is off to a 3-1 record.
The one veteran, Jim Leedy, will
be graduating in December, but
predicts a winning season. He said
that the team will probably do
better than last year and could

A TSon-profit organization
possibly make the district play
offs in March. The team competes
in District 19 of the NAIA. They
are coached by Brian Gauger.
The bowling team started
its season with a 3-5 record, but
they have been up against some
tough competition, including the
University of Maryland and PSU
main campus. The team has three
more meets scheduled for next
semester. (At each meet the team
competes with about four other
schools.) The team is coached by
Betty Evans, who is associated
with the ABC East Lanes. The
team captain is Jeff Raykos.

WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME TO
CALL YOUR BOYFRIEND?
Capital Times
When the president of Phi Gamma Delta
asks you to Saturday night’s Fi|i Formal.
After raquetfoall class, to tell him that the
instructor with the Australian accent and
those blue eyes did wonders for your serve.
When you just feel like telling him you
miss him after all.
Maybe you shouldn’t tell him everything that’s going on. But
if you still care about him, why not call and whisper some sweet
things he’ll never forget?
Like why you call using AT&T Long Dii
vice, and why you trust AT&T’s high qual:
and exceptional value.
When you tell him that AT&T gives you
ate credit if you dial a wrong number, he w<
be able to get you out of his mind.
And telling him you can cc
AT&T for clear, long di
connections will drive
him crazy.
All of which will pro!
ably inspire him to drive
out for the weekend, givinj
you an excuse to blow off
that silly frat party after a!
AT&T
The right choice.
