The Capitol Campus Memorial Scholarship, an en dowed scholarship program, was developed by Business faculty members. It was ap proved by the University and Board of Trustees on August 14, 1984, according to Michael Breslin, Director of Campus Relations. A minimum of $15,000 is re quired for the scholarship pro gram to be activated. Interest earned on the first $15,000 will be used as individual awards to full-time undergraduates enroll ed or planning to enroll at Capitol. So far, approximately $3,000 has been raised, Breslin said. Each scholarship award will be made in memory of a deceased faculty or staff member of the campus. The first Capitol Campus Memorial Scholarship will be made in memory of Dr. James Atkins.
