    Runners in fund-raiser
Ist Annual Jog-A-Thon - The Capitol Campus Roadrunners Club
and the Athletic Association will be sponsoring a 1 hour jog-a-thon
on April 16,1983, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in order to raise and
award funds to student athletes to help offset the cost of tuition,
supplies and room and board.
Middletown Area Senior High Track will provide the allweather
quarter mile track. Gift certificates of $50.00 - $35.00 - $25.00 for the
Sportsknit Shop in Hershey will be awarded to the first three people
who have raised the most funds.
R.A. screening next week
The screening of Resident Assistant candidates for the 1983-84
academic year will commence with a meeting scheduled for
Wednesday evening, April 6,1983 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gallery
Lounge.
The session’s format includes a discussion about the Resident
Assistant position at Capitol Campus, and comments from Resi
dent Assistants assigned to the several residence areas regarding
their experience as R.A.s.
Applications will be distributed, and the screening procedure
outlined.
All persons interested in applying for next year’s Resident
Assistant positions should plan to attend.
Heindel part of national observance
National Library Week is April 17 through 23. The Heindel
Library will be participating along with other area libraries.
Free bookmarks will be available with displays and demonstra
tions. See later announcements on bulletin boards for full details
Orientation committee forming
Orientation committee for Fall Semester is forming now, If in
terested, contact Brian Burdette by leaving a letter in his
mailbox in the S.G.A. office.

The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), a

to work overseas this summer as volunteers on service projects
aimed at helping local communities.
The cost for the program will include airfare and $lOO.OO. The
Council will provide free room and board in order to help-keep par
ticipation costs down.
The work camps, which are scheduled to take place anywhere
from two to four weeks, are available in countries such as Belgium
Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.

Arcade tourney debuts
The first annual ARCADE TOURNAMENT will be held in the
game room on April 7th and Bth. Sponsored by SGA, and
5.U.8.0.G., the grand prize will be a full scale “Breakout”
machine, plus other pnzes. Food prizes will be supplied from
Your Place Restaurant in Hershey. Signups start today in the
main lobby.

A travel catalog and regional guide, which includes valuable in
formation regarding the Basics- of traveling, studying and working
abroad, has been published by the Council on International Educa

The regional guide and travel catalog provides detailed informa
tion on airfares and tours specific to the region covered, study pro
grams, international railpasses, low-cost tours, car plans and
budget accomodations.
