Peace Corps volunteers serve 2 years in a developing nation
of Africa, Asia, lat in America, ordhe Pacibt They help
people of emerging nations meet their basic human needs.
To qualify, volunteers must he U.S. Citi4ens, motivated to
serve, and have a usable skill. Students with backgrounds
in Education, Math/Science, Health belds, Business, and
Economics are especially needed.
Benefits Include paid living. travil, and health expenses plus

VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) volunteers serve
I year in poverty-related programs in the United States and
its territories. They work in Health, Housing, Consumer
Alfairs, Business Development and other areas. Their main
thrust is to identify community and neighborhood leaders
and help organize coalitions to combat problems in low
income areas that hold Americans down.
VISTA volunteers must have a usable skill. Students with
backgrounds in social services, social work and legal train.
