“The C.C. Reader is the
only media by which commu
nication could travel between
the students and the admini
stration. Therefore, relaying
messages should be the most
important goal of this news
paper. It already has honesty
and fairness on its side.”

C.C. Reader Opinion
Dead and Gone
It seems that the college community is spinning its
wheels on the keggar issue and is getting nowhere on
multi-activities for this campus.
In the past, students who lived on campus could drink
beer at the Student Center then walk home. This may have
curiailed car accidents which may have ensued wher:
students drove back from drinking off campus, which is a
very positive aspect of the keggars. Another positive aspect
was that keggars were money making activities to;
organizations; but then, other money making activities
have never been fully explored.
Kegcars should be held as an alternative activity and
could possibly revolve around a specific theme that would
involve a coslume party and games instead of just drinking.
Organizations could co-sponsor keggars and divide the
profits. -
The keggar of the past is dead. Let’s keep it that wa'

“Yes, I do feel the C.C.
Reader is fulfilling its respon
sibility to the students. I think
its a way of giving feedback
to the administration of
Capitol Campus. The paper
also provides a variety of
articles for the students'
amusement and information.’

“I think the paper prints
everything turned in to it by
students and the administra

stories should be censored
for correctness and inter

“For the few people that
have to put the paper toge
ther, you are to be com
mended for doing it. You do
an excellent job with what
you have to work with, but I
hope you become more di
versified in your topics. Cover
both sides of the story and
include more of the other
areas of education here at ‘
‘C.C. the pits!”’
Do you read the C.C. Reader? If not, why not; and if you do, do
you feel that the paper is fulfilling its responsibility as a student
newspaper?
Yes, I read the C.C.
Reader. The paper does fulfill
its responsibility as a student
paper. The short articles a
bout students’ activities and
events are enjoyabie. It
informs commuting students
about activities on campus."

“Yes, I think that consid
ering the limited size of the
newspaper’s staff due to the
high level of student apathy at
Capitol, the newspaper does
a very adequate job. At least
one article has caused the
administration to respond,
which is the main purpose of
a student newspaper. Also,
the Letters to the Editor
afford us a much needed
opportunity to bitch when
there is good reason to.”

“Yes, I read the paper,
but comparing it to other
college newspapers I feel
they could do a better job.
Some sections are adequate
but ,we need a more indepth
knowledge of what is really
happening at Old Main. They
control this place 100 per
cent from 100 miles away.
The administration here is
merely a cast of puppets. We
the students don’t know
what’s going to happen.
Perhaps that’s what the Penn
State SYSTEM is all about. ’
