light of way to pedestrians in
the crosswalks and on one
instance a near miss, the fol
lowing warning is issued.
Failure to yield the right of
way to a pedestrian in a cross
walk or at an intersection where
a crosswalk is not defined by
white lines is a violation of the
vehicle code and can result in
the vehicle operator receiving a
citation with a resulting fine of
$25 plus $lO court cost and
2 points being charged against
your driving record.
