It's also the time of year when club activities in an effort to 'use up' extra monies left in their respective budgets. It is with this knowledge that special interests (a recent example is GPP) approach the clubs in an effort to solicite funds for projects or events. Some members of the Resident Student Council have originated an idea to establish an incremental gift fund account. Monies contributed to the account would be dispursed periodically by the Resident Council for worthwhile improvements in on-campus housing facilities. Improvements would hope fully be those things desired by a majority of the resident students and could include such things as picnic tables, repairs to recreational equipment, electric typewriters and cook ing facilities. The fund is a worthwhile and practical idea. If your club is willing to contribute to such a fund or has any further suggestions, please contact Sheila or Betsy at 944-9216. to (.. q ' ' ll w, a ..... r . il : • ~.. Z.'.
