Page 4 The Brotherhood: By Young Inyang Virtually out of nowhere, the unpublicized - and the only integrated - intramural team on campus, the "Brotherhood Flag" football team, emerged this season like the sudden burst of a volcano, shattering the victory hopes and aspira tions of almost all the other teams, and carrying along with them a 9-1 victory record. Until the 6-7 upset at the hands of the "Sixty-Niners" in last nights' play-offs, the "Brothers" had enjoyed an unpunctuated victory streak. Well it doesn't really exist. It's from the 'Ring of the Nibelung' by Richard Wagner. It's a fictional creation." Sam was totally confused now. "Look, kid, what does this have to do with you." "I edit Tarnhelm." "You edit a helmet." "No. I told you there is no helmet. I edit the Capitol Campus literary magazine, which is called Tarnhelm." Sam waited for a second to put all this together. He turned to the editor. "What have you been doing here these past two weeks?" "I've been waiting." But, because of the need to "expand and justify the term 'Brotherhood'," and "the fair ness" of basing sports partici pation chiefly on ability, Wright decided to integrate the team this year. He hopes that the integra tion and the resulting "Invinci bility" will teach the Capitol Campus a social lesson of the merits and validity of a fully integrated athletic program, with the sole purpose of seeking the "best person for the best position." Wright also expressed deep satisfaction that, besides the team's achievements on the field, closer off-the-field inter personal friendships have de- Tamhelm creative endeavor on the part of a student or faculty member from Capitol Campus. So where do you collect these great works of Art?" "W-161. There's a blue rectangular box that you can drop your material in." "Well I guess that wraps it up, but, kid, you oughts try to get home soon." "Soon as I'm finished." "Soon as I'm finished. Listen you want a cup of coffee?" "No I gotta go find a falcon."
