You can even have your pizza delivered on October 26th and 27th between 8:00 P.M. and midnight to your very own room in the dorms or the heights. So what, you may ask, does that have to do with the United Nations? Are they having a pizza sale there, too? Well not that we know of. But there is a connection, and that connection is the International Affairs Association. lAA is having the pizza sale, and you all know what good cooks they are. you've tasted their food before, and you remember the International Dinners from last year. Oh, that's right, you weren't all here last year. Well then you're in for a pleasant surprise on Nov. 4th. That's the date for our fall term International Dinner. Mark your calendars right now so you won't forget. By the way, the rest of you organizations had better mark your calendars, too. Our dinners are so well attended that there wouldn't be anyone left over to participate in any other function. We discuss all kinds of details like that at our meetings. We've even discussed the details of our next bake sale. Details like, November 3rd, Vendorville, periods 1 to 5. And details like how to get more people to donate baked goods for our sale. We knovr - We have a lot of friends out there who want to help but just don't know when we need it. L4A Will Not Forget Us. C.C. READER And we know there's a lot of people out there who don't even know who or what we are but who love to bake. And they dont want all that sweet stuff sitting around the house tempting them. Well, bake to your heart's content on the second of November and bring it in. And introduce yourself, we're friendly. By the way if you know how to get a pizza concession in the U.N. come to our meetings, we want to talk about it; Nov.' 7th and 21st at 3:00 in the Gallery Lounge. We'll be talking about pizzas and the United Nations. Oh, not together. You've known all along that was a farce. But we will be talking about what a good fund-raiser the pizza sale was and how much fun we had baking them. And we'll be talking about our upcoming Model United Nations. It will be held here in February for area high school students. And we're working hard now to get it all together. You too can be part of the action. If you're a senior, live it up a little before you leave here. If you're a junior, get in on the ground floor and you'll go all the way to the top by this time next year. You did want to go to the top, didn't you? The top floor of the U.N. -that's where you were told to take that pizza. By Al Krebs The first Chi Gamma lota fraternity meeting of the year was held September 27 at Middletown American Legion. Reports were made by each member of the executive board outlining programs and activi ties for this year. Mark McGlynn expressed his appre ciation for the large turnout for our first meeting. Bob Abbott wants us to be reminded of our blood drive coming up November 7th. I hope all you guys and dolls will support us. Mike Benner wishes to thank everyone in the fraternity for the blood donation to his mother. A few fraternity members were in terviewed by Barker Howland of the Sunday Patriot.
