Although the fraternity does consist mostly of veterans, we also accept social members. Anyone interested should stop at the XGI lounge for information. We can be very friendly. Last year we had plenty of fun and excitement. For those of you who don't mind lists, here are some of the things that we were involved in last year: blood drives, V. A. hospital visit, very good mission to release Melamine, against the will of the group. The album, pressed and ready for shipment two weeks ago, may be the first platimun-sta tus album certified by advance orders never to be released. Copies had been sent to radio stations and press by Mushroom before the decision was set. Advance reviews indicate that the album, although very short, contains some of Heart's more powerful work eclipsing even that of their present album Little Queen. The album, never completed, contains only five new Heart originals. The remainder is filled with two live cuts (one being a cover version of Kiki Dee's hit, "I've Got The Music In Me"), and the B-side of a single not found on their first and only Mushroom album. Not bad, right? Well, believe it or not there are a few more events that we participated in, but we don't want to overexpose ourselves too much. We do it all, and very well. Stop by and ask us. We're not modest. Under the astute direction of our president, Mark McGlynn, the executive board has already met to formulate plans for 1977-78, which is shaping up to be a very good year for the fraternity.
