Oct. 23, 1975 XGI Reporter In my last article, I promised a good time to frat members, new and old, at the first Tiltin Hilton meeting. Last week’s meeting fulfilled that promise! We had a real good turnout of about 50 people. The third meeting of the term will be this Tuesday night, Oct. 28 at the Tilton Hilton. Well, once again, its RAFFLE time! So, see Ken Harris for tickets to sell! The drawing will be Dec. 3, 1975 and to just mane a few of the prizes, there will be a micro-wave oven or radial tires, golf clubs and cart, bikes, and calculators. So let's get out there and sell, sell, sell. The frat is very pleased to have some junior frat members running for Junior SGA Senators. Flag Football and bowling are under way according to sports chairman, Denny Mogel. As of this writing, the XGI flag football team was at one win and two losses. There was a real good turnout for the blood drive. We wish to thank those who donated and hope that they enjoyed the refreshments afterwards. As a final note, I’d like to say that Edna Keister’s modeling of frat sport and tee shirts at the last meeting was a work of art! Good job, Edna!! Pet Restriction On Campus cont. from pg. 1 and otherwise abused by their owners. Gautreau said students who keep pets may be violating the rights of their room or house-mates who don’t want pets. Yet the objections of the pet lovers continue. One student, who preferred to remain anonymous, said he beleived students would follow University recom mendations on pets if the University would permit pets in the residence areas, he said all students pay a security deposit, and that it culd be used to cover expenses accrued by pets. Pat Murphy, who was active in previous efforts at “pet reform” said pet owners are “up against the Univer sity” in their attempts to change policy. She said Otto Mueller, director of food and housing at University Park, refused to see the Capitol campus as any different from the rest of the University. I.E.E.E. She said the policy would have been administered by the Board of Governors. South said chances for revision of the no pets policy are “negligible”.
