"ECKANKAR is the most
ancient of spiritual paths, that
which is the foundation of all
revelation we find today in the
Holy scriptures of every known
religion and mystery cult both
ancient and modern, of Itself
few known the road of ECK. It
has been taught to a few adepts
and mystics by highly evolved
spiritual masters from the dawn
of time to the present. But the
teachings have been oral and
secretly given until recently.

MEETING
JANUARY 18- President's Council meeting, 7 PM, Gallery
Lounge. All campus organizations funded by the SGA are required
to send a representative. At BPM, Old Time Movies will be shown at
the New Birth, 946 A Kirtland Ave., Meade Heights. On tap are
"Eagle" and "With Love and Hisses."
JANUARY 19-- At 8 PM in the auditorium, the Cultural
Programs Committee presents the film classic "Shane" and it is open
and free to the public. A discussion precedes the movie at 7:30.
JANUARY 20— Varsity basketball against Spring Garden College,
the game to be played at Chestnut Hill, Pa.
JANUARY 21-- Mass at 3:45 PM in the Student Center
JANUARY 22 At 2 PM. a demonstration of "Electronic Music"
will be presented in the Auditorium. The event is sponsored by the
Cultural Programs Committee. At 6:30 PM, the Head Shop holds
one of its weekly meetings in the New Birth. Also at 6:30, the
Student Government Association meets in W-335. The Resident
Student Council meets at 6:30 in the second floor lounge of Church
Hall. The Beta Chi Society entertains a guest speaker, whose topic is
retailing, at 7 PM in room 211. A committee to organize a Spring
Festival meets in the Gallery Lounge at 7 PM.
JANUARY 23 The Meade Heights Board of Governors and
Coffee House Committee meets at 6:30 PM in the New Birth. Delta
Tau Kappa, the international social science honor society, entertains
prospective members in the Gallery Lounge at 7 PM. The varsity
basketball team plays Penn State's Schuylkill Campus in a home
contest at the Main Street Gym in Middletown at 8 PM.
JANUARY 24 At 6:30, the Social Affairs Committee meets in
the Gallery Lounge. Then at 8 PM, it is "Crafts Night" at the New
Birth.
JANUARY 25-- The Christian Science organization stages a
meeting at 3:15 PM in W-202. At 8 PM, the Cultural Programs
Committee presents a tale of the old West in "Outcasts of Poker
Flat" in the auditorium.
