November 30, 1972 Dr. Francis Ferguson Ferguson Appointed Grad Program Chief Dr. Francis Ferguson, Professor of Enviromental Design at Capitol Campus has been named Chairman of the Regional Planning Program. His promotion was announced last week by Dr. Robert E. McDermott, Provost. An architect and planning consultant, Dr. Ferguson joined the Capitol Campus faculty in the fall of 1971 after serving as Associate Professor of Urban Planning in the School of Architecture at Columbia University. While at the campus, Dr. Ferguson has concentrated on developing the computer graphics and design capability within the Regional Planning Program. After obtaining his architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Ferguson did graduate work at Harvard and Columbia Universities, receiving his Master of Science and Doctor Philosophy degrees in Urban Planning from the latter institution.
