GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Meet The “Playmates” and The “Untouchables” There is a volleyball team at cap itol and among the girls on the teams, the game is enjoyed quite a bit. The girls find the game a good break from schoolwork and find it enjoyable and competitive. The development of the teams is most amusing. The Playmates I are all from one house, 9528 Kirtland Avenue, consisting of Donna Walter, Jackie Strum, Marilyn Coriell, and Karen Bath. Playmates II is a com bination of two houses, 828 A Nelson Drive, with R. A. Shiela Ryan, There sa Kaminski, Barbara Jagozinski, and Gerry Delaney, and 824 A Nelson, where Karen Cunningham, Mary Pat Dougherty, Lexy Lucia, and Debbie Sklar make up the other half. The times have changed and the issues may have changed, but I submit to you that people still enjoy a good time. . . and if your Social Committee isn’t providing that for you, it deserves to die, and well it might. At least it has been responding to a contempor ary theme: “Help one another”. Have You ? Thank you, Steve Forman by Tony McGovern chick During a pleasant interview with Gerry Delandy, she told me that all the girls find volleyball a lot of fun, and a good break from the home existance. She said that in her house, Shiela and herself turned the other girls on to the game. She said that once the girls play, they find them selves coming back again and again. It seems that the secret is in getting people who know one another to get together and join in the volleyball fun. The team meets for one hour on Monday nights from eight to nine o’clock. The dress is casual, consist ing of a blue and white striped shirt and a pair of blue jeans. Officials are present for the girls volleyball games. Why not give it a try, girls, it should be fun.
