(DPMA), and students are eligible
to become members of this pro
fessional organization.
Many club activities are plann
ed for the school year. The MIS
Club plans to sponsor several
speakers and present various
news
videotapes; all dealing with some
aspect of the computerata pro
cessing fields. Tours of the com
puter centers at some local
businesses are also in the planning
stages. A major project being con
sidered by the club involves spon
soring a computer competiton for
area high school students. The
Book Sale sponsored by the club
last year was a success, and plans
are being made to hold such a Co
op at the end of the present
semester.
