Kelly Regenor: (Third
Semester, MIS) “Keep your
grades up because after the
freshman year it gets harder.
Don’t get behind in your credits
or studies because as you go along
it is harder to improve upon your
GPA.”
Leo Hertz: (Third Semester,
Behrend Business) “I don’t think
its worth the money to buy a park
ing permit because they don’t pro
vide enough spaces for students to
park. So I would advise freshmen
not to buy parking permits until
they can get more spaces for
parking.”

by Tracy Simmons

Campus Ministry has
something to offer students,
faculty, staff, and families of any
denomination. In addition to pro

programs, they also sponsor
social events, including the Fall
Ice Cream Social held during
Orientation Week. According to
Pam Griesbach, Campus Ministry
Coordinator, this year’s Social
was a success. “We estimate that
we had between 400 and 500
students, faculty and staff attend.
Everybody enjoyed the ice cream,
” Griesbach said.
Another social and cultural
event Campus Ministry sponsors

Kevin Jones: (Third Semester,
Business Management) “Put a lot
of thought into your studies and
divide your time up equally for
your classes. For example, don’t
spend too much time on one and
blow off another because you
don’t think its that important.”
Leo Hertz
Management and Human
Resources) “Get your study
habits down now in the first two
terms because after that, each
year is going to get harder and
harder. If you don’t have the
basic skills down, you are going to
be running into' problems along

going to get more complicated.”
Eric Kozlowski: (Third
Semester, Accounting) “I think
that they shouldn’t be intimidated
by the studying. I was really
frightened by my high school
teachers about how hard college
was going to be. I think kids are
really paranoid and with social
life too. They are worried about
being accepted at parties so they
wear their Penn State clothing.
They don’t need to do that, they
should just be casual. My biggest
advice is not to be intimidated by
this college life. Don’t party too
much and don’t study too much.

Melissa Dupin: (Third

seems like a lot of the sophomore
