After the closing of "Say Good night, Grade' , this weekend, the Studio theatre is getting ready to open- its second . show of the season, "Godspell". Godspell, the soft rock musical, has been undergoing rehearsals for the past few weeks and looks like they have their work cut out for them before their opening on November 5. The ensemble of the show in cludes: Don Carmichael, Randy Murzynski, Sean McHugh, Fred Becker, David Travis, Mary Beth Finke, Manic Lewis, Pam. Dust, Dawn Wagner, Stephanie Marra, Carolyn Brust, Joe Fiorilli, Adam Green and Kaisa Ajaye. Guest Director, John Burton, is assisted by dancer/choreo grapher Denise DiGiorgio and they are assisted by stage manager Smanne D'Angelico. John Burton gives the cast amaz ing vocal direction and has done fabulous choreography. Mr. Bur ton hails from New York and has been in many Erie Playhouse productions along . with many shows performed m bordering eastern states. Along with Paul Iddings supervising the direc ting, the show is slowly coming to a head. Mr. Iddings and Mr. Burton have been asked to .bring their production of -"Godsppli" to the stage of the Erie Dinner Theatri. This is available to all during the 17,18, and 19 of November at the Ave44.210:1. ITALIAN RESTAURANT For the first time since 1978 Behrend College will have a year- SPECIAL _ book. Working with Taylor Publishing Company, editor Try Our Brett Andrews and the yearbook • staff will present the 184-page Daily Lunch Specials "Cub" to this year's student body. _ 3512 Buffalo Road Seniors will have their picture • Wesleyville taken as they did back in high • school. They will be able to pur- Phone 899-3423 chase their pictures from the .photographer as well as have them taken for the yearbook. All underclassmen and corn . muters will be in group shots. Underclassmen will be photographed by floor or by ma jor, depending on which is the easiest way to get everyone together at the same time. Posters will- be placed around campus to inform commuters that they . should meet somehow, perhaps in neighborhood groups, and decide who will be in which group shot. This is important; if you want your picture in the year book, get a meeting together. Yearbooks are on sale until-the end of'October, for $16.50. A table ' will be set up in the Reed Building by , the Main Desk. Delivery from the publisher should be at the end - of May. Everyone will be in - the year book - students, faculty and staff_ If anyone wants to purchase advertising space, they will be most welcome. Tickets are available through the Maenner chor Club and the Behrend Theatre office. Edgar Lansbury, Stuart Dun can, Joseph Beruh have thrilled theatre-going people for years with their musical adaption of the gospel according to St. Matthew. There will be no exceptions with these performances. The Behrend Players will send chills to the theatre patrons of Erie and the Tri-State area as well. The set of this , show is being designed by the talented Sandy Duncan, whose work we have seen in previous Behrend produc tions. The chief in the orchestra pit will be our own Marjorie Podoldky as her fingers glide over those ivory keys. This ensemble is already show ing so much natural talent that it is looking quite evident that they will be on - their way to the 'American Theatre Festival. As in any show, there are always im provements to be made, but these talented young singers and dancers and actors seem to be on the way to making an entrancing "Godspell". Yearbook Revived BEHREND COLLEGIAN Pre-Registration Coming Pre-registration for Winter Term runs October 25th through the 29th. The Records Office will accept pre-registration - from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. throughout the week. Students should make an appoint ment with their advisor during pre-registration week. According to the Records Of fice, students who pre-register must also register. Registration can take place by Early,Registra tion or by regular ,registration. Early registration takes place at the Records Office Tuesday through Friday, November 16-19.
