on April 11th. The Ozzie Ozborne
concert was canceled due to the
deaths of some band members.
The sixth annual Scholarship
Ball was a total success. About
250 people attended the dance at
Rainbow Gardens on Friday
night. Music was provided by a
D.J. Eliot Stoul spun the discs
from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Sue Richardson and Doug
Saltsman both attended the
dance, they had this to say about
it, "There were not as many peo
ple there as last year but the peo
ple that did attend certainly en
joyed themselves."
The Annual Behrend Fund has
reached $22,000. Staff and
faculty cooperation has helped to
make this annual drive a success.
So far the fund drive is doing ex
ceptionally well.

(new wave cliches will also be ac
cepted), can just drop them off at
the office. The office is in the big
building with the library in it and
has the new-wave word "ef
ficacious" posted in the window.
If you have any doubt as to what a
new wave word is, you.probably
shouldn't enter the contest. Just
,to be fair, impartial, and jour
nalistic, here are a few
examples:
Squip - because it just.is.
Bogus - because it's bad, imply
ing just about anything you want
it to. .
Stripped - to explain the state of
your brain cells.

ing hasn't even hit Main Campus

what isn't a new-wave word.
