The award was announced after he played in the Cage Classic II All-Star Tour nament held at the Gannon Audi on April 12. Williams, who will graduate this Spring with a B.S. in Psychology, was selected from among all area collegiate athletes. In recognition of Mother's Day CARE's Pittsburgh office has launched a special Mother's Day campaign to send food and other aid to homeless, hungry children overseas. Contributions of. $2.00 or more, together with your mother's name, address and instructions as to how the card should be signed, can be sent to CARE, Kaufmann's Pittsburgh, PA 15219. CARE will send a special Mother's Day card to your mother and will distribute relief aid to needy children around the world. For four years, the 6'2" guard, played basketball for Behrend, and finished his career as Behrend's third highest all time scorer. Ron was also selected to the Metro of America All- Tournament Team, and as a NAIA Honorable Mention All American for the 1979-80 season. They are Stupkaiella mastelleri Wagner and Mesocricotopus odei Seward. The Stupkaiella masterelleri was named after Dr. Masteller who discovered that species.
